We are also to produce the famous and loved traditional African beverage Gemere, a refreshing non-alcoholic ginger beer enjoyed. We grew up knowing that Gemere was a must have at all types of events, and recipes have been carried over for generations. We also produce indigenous tea, made from scientifically known herbs and shrubs Lippia Javanica, Artemisia and Mint found in rural villages all over South Africa.
For generations, before modern medicine became available, our grandparents always knew which herbs and plants to use for different common ailments, as well as for their social enjoyment.
